Hi, I’m E.R. Brown. I’m the author of Almost Criminal, a crime novel about a young man named Tate MacLane and B.C. Bud. Almost Criminal is my first book, and against the tremendous odds that face an unknown first-timer with a small Canadian publisher, the book has received a fair amount of notice from reviewers, librarians and booksellers. It’s been a finalist for a couple of major awards. Overall, its first year has been a surprisingly fun run!
