Almost Criminal
My first novel is about Tate, a brilliant young overachiever—and miserable barista—who hooks up with Randle Kennedy, the West Coast's leading producer of boutique (pre-legalization) cannabis. Randle needs a new, fresh face to front his transactions. Tate is a perfectionist who fits right into Randle's obsessive quality control and tight security. At least, until he meets the cold-blooded bikers who are the power behind Randle's business, and discovers that it's harder to get out of the business than to get in.
